Why your financial and health data should never leave your phone

Your expenses reveal your habits. Your health readings reveal your body. Together, they are the most personal data you own — and most apps treat them as a product to be uploaded, analysed, and monetised.

The hidden cost of 'free' apps

When an app is free and asks you to create an account and 'sync to the cloud', your data usually becomes the business model. It gets stored on servers you don't control, used to train models, and sometimes sold to advertisers. You get convenience; they get your life.

On-device first changes everything

Rupix apps are built offline-first. Your transactions, budgets and health vitals are stored on your device by default. The app works fully without internet. Cloud sync is optional, and when you do enable it, it's end-to-end encrypted with keys only you hold — so even we cannot read your data.

What this means for you

No account required to start. No data sold. No training on your records. If you lose your phone, your encrypted backup restores only with your key. Privacy isn't a setting you toggle — it's the default.

Try it yourself

Rupix Finance Tracker brings this privacy-first approach to everyday money management, and Health Tracker is coming soon for your vitals. Both keep your data where it belongs: with you.
